public--the

individual expressions about the teachings in The Urantia Book and organizations
who solely purpose is the study and disseminate of the teachings of The
Urantia Book.
Physical archive
The home of the largest physical repository is the "American Religions Special
Collection" at the University of California Santa Barbara
(UCSB), Davidson
Library.
The “American Religions Collection”
contains over 30,000 books and 2,000 magazines, journals, and
newspapers in its serial collection. It is the largest collection of
its kind in the world. The Special Collections Reading Room makes
accessible to the public and scholars, valuable, rare, and unique
materials which are non-circulating. The archive is available for

UCSB Dept. of Special
Collections "American Religions Collection"
The Urantia Book Historical Society wishes to encourage people to read the tranformative teachings of The Urantia Book.
This website is not a substitute for reading the book. The history in this archive is about The Urantia Book Movement,
individual expressions of people who have
read the book. This archive is for educational purposes--research
and study aides. There was a conscious desire on the part
of the 486 Forum members to be accepted as themselves--
ordinary people from many walks of life. The Urantia Book Movement has
no buildings for gatherings, no founder or prophet, no one that has
ever made any money on it, and no efforts to start an organized
religion. For those seeking information on the revelation's
origins--it remains a mystery even for those who were closest to its
arrival. Since personal experience with revelation is the only truly
convincing proof, The Urantia Book must speak for itself.
